Keeler is excited to be partnering with Olleyes, with the latest technology in visual field: the VisuALL. In this webinar we will have special guests Dr. Katz and Dr. Meyers from Wills Eye Hospital who will be presenting the results from their comparison study about the newest technology in the field. We will also have Dr. Alberto Gonzalez (CEO & Founder of Olleyes) and Dr. Warren Fagadau. This 60-minute webinar will be educational, informative and provide an opportunity for engaging early adopters in new practices. DR. ALBERTO GONZALEZ

Olleyes CEO and Founder

Alberto O. González-García, MD, was an Assistant Professor at the Cuban Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery and Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and Clinician at the Cuban Institute of Ophthalmology. Dr González-García has completed a clinical fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the Cuban Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery and a glaucoma research fellowship at the Hamilton Glaucoma Center, University of California San Diego. Dr González-García was the Chief Medical Officer and the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of Diopsys, Inc. and currently the Chief Executive Officer of Olleyes, Inc.

JAY KATZ, MD

Attending Surgeon & Director Emeritus of the Glaucoma Service at Wills Eye Hospital / Professor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University

Dr. L Jay Katz, M.D. went to Case Western Reserve University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude before going on to Yale University Medical School where he received his M.D. After this he had an internship at the University of Virginia in Internal Medicine, then participated in a residency in ophthalmology at Yale University, leading to his completion of a fellowship in glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Katz, M.D. has received distinctive awards in his field. He is the recipient of the American Academy of Ophthalmology Honor Award as well as the Senior Achievement Award. He is an editorial board member for Survey of Ophthalmology, Journal of Glaucoma, Graefes Clinical and Experimental Journal of Ophthalmology, Medscape and the Open Journal of Ophthalmology.  Dr Katz has authored over 200 scientific articles and book chapters and been a recipient of numerous research grants including those from the National Eye Institute, the Centers for Disease Control, the Glaucoma Research Foundation and private industry

JONATHAN MYERS, MD

Director of the Glaucoma Service of Wills Eye Hospital

Jonathan S. Myers, MD is Director of the Glaucoma Service of Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, where he has been in practice with L. Jay Katz MD for over 20 years. Dr. Myers has authored and co-authored more than 90 articles in peer reviewed journals and has lectured internationally regarding the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.  He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Glaucoma and Glaucoma Today.

WARREN "CHIP" FAGADAU, MD

Fagadau, Hawk, and Swanson M.D. / Clinical Assistant Professor, University of Texas Southwestern Medical School

Working in private practice in Dallas since 1983, Dr. Fagadau has published articles in referenced ophthalmic journals, has lectured on clinical issues and has been invited for visiting professorships. He has served on the American Academy of Ophthalmology Board of Councilors and as a consultant on the Alcon Surgical Advisory Board. Dr. Fagadau has served as president of the Board of Directors and is a current member of the Advisory Board for the past six years of Reading and Radio Resource, an organization providing services for the visually impaired, and is a member of the Texas Lyceum, Southwestern Medical School Alumni Association and Yale Club of Dallas. He is further involved in numerous professional societies, including the Pan American Association of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Ophthalmological Association, Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Fagadau is incoming president of the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists (CLAO, the nation’s leading society dedicated to contact lens research). He has been voted one of Dallas’ best doctors in D Magazine. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the North Texas Underinsured Health Care Coalition, dba, the North Texas 3-Share Plan, a 501(c)3 organization, first as Treasurer starting in 2006, and then as Chairman of the Board starting in 2008 – 2011.
